Pianist Minna Sungmin Han and violinist Jiyun Lee formed a duo in Maryland in 2007, and have been meeting the audience through performing activities mainly in the U.S. and South Korea. Beginning with a recital at the Druker Auditorium in Newton, a suburban town of Boston, they have been communicating with the audience through music on small and large stages.

In the U.S, the duo gave a recital at Carnegie Weill Hall after winning ‘Artists International Presentation Awards’. In addition to Carnegie Hall, the major venues the duo has appeared include the Preston Bradley Hall in the historic Chicago Cultural Center, Cindy Pritzker Auditorium, Crocker Art Museum to name a few. The duo is one of the audience favorite and reinvited to perform at the ‘Dr. Richard Shiff Forum Presentation’ concert series in Plymouth Public Library, Massachusetts, and the ‘Fine Arts Fall’ concert series in Northbrook, a suburban town of Chicago. The concert series the duo has been invited to perform also include ‘the Second Saturday Concert Series’ in Escondido, ‘Sunday Musicale’ at Newport Beach Public Library, ‘Classical Concert Series’ in Northshore, New York. The duo enjoys playing programs relating certain themes as ‘Nationalism in Music,’ ‘French music for violin and piano,’ ‘Robert and Clara with Brahms,’ and ‘Fall and Nostalgia’ and etc.

In South Korea, they had their first concert at the Youngsan Art Hall in spring of 2009, and were invited to the ‘Year-End Music Concert.’ In addition, they had a recital at Seoul Baroque Chamber Hall by the invitation of the Korea Art and Culture Critic Association, and continue to join the ‘World Music Tour’ series at Seoul Arts Center presented by the ‘Pianissimo & Musical Arts Association’ since 2012. In January 2015, they opened the New Year with the New Year Music Concert at the same hall. The duo continues inspiring the audience through their authentic music bearing harmony created by the unity of the two and lyricism out of their deep heart.
